An overview of our organisation

About

JCI Melbourne, also known as the Melbourne Junior Chamber of Commerce (MJCC), is a not-for-profit organisation founded on 21 July 1936.  We are the Melbourne city chapter of JCI Australia, part of Junior Chamber International.

We welcome anyone with the ideas and energy to create what matters for Melbourne’s young business and professional community.  To be a full member and serve on the board you have to be aged between 18 and 40 inclusive but age won’t stop you from enjoying our events and activities if you have the right mindset.
JCI Melbourne is the Melbourne Junior Chamber of Commerce Incorporated, Association Number A0030025D, ABN 92 618 778 991.

Junior Chamber International (JCI) is one of the biggest worldwide non-political and non-sectarian youth service organisations.  It is a global network of young active citizens between the ages of 18 to 40 that exists to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.  JCI Members take action and provide sustainable solutions to improve themselves and the world around them.
